To The Fastpitch Softball Fan:
The Popularity of fastpitch softball in our area has increased two-fold over the last several years. It's taken on a life of it's own, with travel ball during the summer and fall. We have several teams in our Region that will be very competitive come District and Regional Tournament time. This years we have (2) Seniors and a great deal of talent in our younger girl's. they have been involved in a lot of accomplishments our Softball program has had. They have watched or played in (2) State Tournaments, and (3) State all "A" Championships, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
With the help of the many parents, their daughters, businesses, and other individuals, our program has accomplished; 2 State Championships, 1 third-place finish, 1 fifth place finish; 1 seventh place finish, 3 All "A" State Championships, 9 Regional Championships, 3 Regional runner-ups, 12 District Championships, 2 District runner-ups 12 major Invitational Championships, 8 major Invitational runner-ups and a won-lost record of 442-121-1.
The 2009 Lady Greyhound Softball Program enters a new year, with a solid group of girls returning and with the nucleus of our line-up intact, I've beefed up the schedule so that we are tested to the best of our abilities. The countless hours practicing, playing games, and participating in tournaments should give myself, and my coaching staff the ability to put the best team on the field by District Tournament time.
